Peace Is Every Step: The Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life

Essential Dhamma Study Group

Next occurring on May 21, 2024 7:00pm

Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Facilitated by Tim Neeck, former facilitator of the Saturday night group, this study group will be focused on the essential teachings of the Buddha. We’ll begin with the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path, and expand our discussions beyond those core basics over the weeks as we make our way through the Five Hinderances, the Ten Perfections, and more. All of this will be done in an open environment, with space for all of us to explore these concepts in discussion and community.

The format of the meeting is a gathering and introduction, followed by 30 minutes of mediation, a short break, a short introduction to the evening’s topic, and a discussion.

While this study group is offered freely, the Mindfulness Community of Milwaukee is providing space for our exploration of the Dhamma, and the Community exists through the generosity of those who share in the openness of the centers the Community maintains.
